Hip Hop ages: 7
and up
Simple free-style dance appropriately focused
towards each specific age group. Familiar dance moves and songs from
artist such as Lindsey Lohan and Cheetah Girls. Appropriate language
and body movements are used at all times. This is a VERY important
criteria for our choreography and costumes. Children learn dance combinations
that make up a well choreographed dance that teach the dancers how
to move together as a team to the beat.
What to wear: We encourage all students to come dressed the part.
Preferrably cotton pants, (ie. yoga pants, gauchos, jazz pants, cotton
shorts) and shirt. NO JEAN MATERAL CLOTHING! Dancers may go bare foot
for class, or wear jazz shoes or tennis shoes. Hair pulled back!
